Job Description:
All students are welcome to apply, but we prefer students who are at least one year away from completing their studies here at CityU to avoid quick turnovers.
Job Summary:
Provides creative and project support to the Marketing team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Primarily creates content for the required communication tools used by the team to inform and engage prospective and current students and alumni. Ensures timely messaging in a consistent and professional voice to maximize impression and impact. Performs additional support to related projects and events as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates promotional materials for programs/projects/events and promotes via all channels as needed.
Ensures a consistent professional voice is used across all public-facing messages delivered by CityU.
Maintains office files.
Composes and edits email correspondence templates used in targeted email blasts and action-triggered messaging as needed.
Assists with photography and video marketing.
Creates and schedules social media posts (primarily on LinkedIn and Twitter) as needed.

Must be a CityU student enrolled in a degree program.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and organizational and problem-solving ability.
Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision, effectively prioritize work, multi-task, and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.
Ability to handle MS Office products, including Outlook and advanced functions of Word, Excel, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse staff, faculty and the public.
Proficient with social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok).
Additional Information:
Hours
: This is a part-time (19.5 hours per week) student position.
Salary
: This position pays a minimum wage of $18.69 per hour plus 100% tuition credit for 1 class per quarter.
