If you are a student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will support daily and long term project functions of their respective teams. You will assist project engineers with various new product development and existing product support activities, including completing test projects on refrigeration or air conditioning systems and customer support. You will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activity in the labs, handling large volumes of data, and conducting technical calculations, as well as implementing new technologies. You will require positive, productive interactions with multiple internal resources of varying disciplines. 

 

AS A PRODUCT MANAGEMENT CO-OP, YOU WILL: 

Participate in business development projects

Assist with competitive benchmarking and customer research

Assist with product development projects to support teams within sales, marketing, and engineering

Work with product managers to enable sales for downstream marketing

','!*!REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering Management, or related field

Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher

Ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM) during the scheduled semester

Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing or related field

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Skilled in MS Suite

Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

Ability to work independently

Effective organization and interpersonal skills

About our Location

The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial, industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure that food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions. With the blend of businesses and functions represented under this one roof, there are many opportunities for advancement within the Sidney location.
