We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented digital marketing, communication and digital media manager or similar to work on an innovative collaboration between Yellow Hammer Brewing Limited and the University of Plymouth. The Role: This is a very interesting and challenging role for a qualified digital marketing, communication and digital media, marketing management or similar graduate to work on a joint project under Management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, between Yellow Hammer Brewing Limited and the University of Plymouth. The key objective of this role is to optimise digital marketing processes and develop a digital marketing campaign for a new, healthier beer brand, targeting a health-conscious demographic, whilst increasing the online presence for their existing brands. This will enable the company to continue innovating for the longer term by providing a roadmap for future digital innovations. The Candidate: You will have: Essential criteria that must be met: A good first degree with a minimum 2.1 (Hons) in Marketing, Business, Management or an equivalent qualification with a significant component of Marketing. Please specify grade. A higher degree in a complementary area relating to Digital Marketing and Social Media, Strategic Marketing Management or equivalent experience Evidence of developing and implementing a robust digital marketing strategy and campaign for innovative products Desirable criteria that would be advantageous: Awareness of digital marketing techniques including website design, optimisation and adoption of analytics techniques Market and customer analysis research, SWOT analysis and competitors analysis Digital effectiveness study and implementation of benchmarketing techniques. Creation of brand book and content marketing for innovative products Application of change management models to successfully implement business change Prior experience working in the industry is desirable and specifically beverage or food industry Development of training materials to embed knowledge and delivery of training Need to span all areas in the business and liaise with suppliers and customers so excellent communication skills are important. An interest and enthusiasm in digital marketing and analytics techniques for innovative products A clear understanding of project management including project planning, cost control, risk assessment, quality and resource management. You will be highly numerate with well-developed marketing skills. You will need to be methodical and tenacious with a proven ability to lead a project from the strategic marketing and communication perspective and work well within a team. Mr Andrew Morton is supported by Dr Christopher Agyapong Siaw, Lecturer in Marketing at Plymouth Business School. Christopher has extensive experience working with SMEs and other businesses in Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly with regards to helping them to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, as well as international marketing plans. The KTP will also work with Dr Gail Rees, Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences (Faculty of Health) to help inform on the nutritional benefits of the new product. Dr. Gail Rees, has an experience in nutrition research methods, assessment of nutritional status and she has a particular interest in lifestyle interventions. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 24 months due to funding. This position is based near Exeter, Devon.
