Demand Media Studios is the content creation platform that drives Demand Media’s network of websites. We partner with some of the best contributors online to create quality, engaging content that reaches a network of over 74 million unique monthly visitors. The Studio’s Marketing Team is responsible for the recruitment, activation and retention of all contributors including writers, editors and photographers.

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Specialist, who will thrive in a supportive, collaborative, yet fast-paced interactive environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving acquisition initiatives to reach content creator goals
Manage current job posting campaigns including testing headlines and copy and rotating ads
Test and explore new online acquisition channels for targeted needs
Make recommendations on new and existing acquisition efforts based on CPA and engagement metrics
Work with internal team to drive marketing activation and retention initiatives for new contributors
Create marketing copy including email campaigns, newsletters and blog posts
Maintain a consistent voice, in-line with existing branding in all external messaging and campaigns
Requirements:
2 years of online marketing or similar experience, Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience with social media, marketing and managing online campaigns across multiple networks preferred
Self-starter who can work autonomously and is willing to explore new acquisition channels
Results-oriented, innovative, great attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines
Strong analytical skills to test, measure, refine and report on the impact of marketing programs
Must possess strong work-ethic and solid project management skills
Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills
