Vaccine Outreach Coordinator/AAA Region (AACOG) This is a responsible, supervisory position that coordinates the AAA Covid-19 Vaccine information, outreach and scheduling of events and or appointments for residents in the 13 AACOG County Region. Duties include leading a team to implement AAA’s vaccine plan to educate, bring awareness and outreach efforts, as well as coordination and conducting public awareness sessions in a variety of forums; Maintains contact with partners, non-profit agencies, vendors, and state and federal agencies to facilitate cross-project communications and relations; Collects, analyzes and prepares WellSky data for reporting through specialized software for the AAA and AACOG, Health and Human Service Commission (HHSC) and reports as needed. Works in conjunction with the management team to develop a Vaccine Public Awareness effort for older adults in the 13 County Region; Works in conjunction with the public affairs department to ensure the Vaccine Information is disseminated through various methods including social media; Conducts presentations, participates in public awareness events to older adults; Serves as liaison to non-profit agencies, vendors and governments to facilitate events and communication; Compiles, analyzes, and evaluates AAA vaccine efforts, Assists AAA staff liaison with AAA committees, related tasks and projects; Adheres to the Quality Assurance plan, policies and procedures per internal/external agencies; Properly documents time in ADP or its equivalent. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Desired Education/Job Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or related field. Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of aging, social work, other human services, community outreach, or related field; Two (2) years of full-time aging or social work with people with disabilities may be substituted for one (1) year of the required education; Or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Other Qualifications: Position requires long distance driving to rural areas and or Bexar County/City of San Antonio. This position is a Pay Grade 13, with a starting annual salary of $42,583.32. This is an exempt position. Open until Filled.
