Job Summary
We're looking for a dynamic and progressive marketing leader to develop our go-to-market narrative and resources, maximizing our advertising sales revenue. This individual is a player coach, both individually creating and overseeing the team's efforts surrounding our one-to-many sales narratives and positioning across different lines of business (from Retail to National, and Automotive, and more) by partnering with Sales and other internal stakeholders. A key area of focus would include industry and economy research to enhance storytelling for key value propositions. This individual would develop and oversee narratives and resources around high value programming (e.g. sports, major seasonal tentpole programming, etc.) and partner with other stakeholders for integrated marketing solutions. Day-to-day would require collaboration with partner departments like Product Marketing, Research and Brand for their insights, to individually craft and lead team members in the development of assets like presentations, one-sheets, emails, and more for the Sales and Sales Development teams. This individual would own content launch strategy and deployment, in partnership with the Communications team. Implements content and narrative ideation, strategies, and will provide strong leadership within our group's area of influence.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Designs, develops and rolls out sales marketing programs across the organization, aligning prioritization with regional and enterprise sales development leaders and partner departments.
Drives results by individually developing and overseeing team members' development of sales materials (narratives, go-to-market positioning, collateral, decks) to secure new and incremental business across identified industry verticals, customer segmentation and personas.
Introduces new sales marketing narratives to the Sales team, partners with learning, communications, and deployment teams on learning objectives and effective introduction of all resources to the organization.
Researches, develops and recommends sales strategies for key stakeholders by utilizing industry and economic insights and trends, to meet the customer landscape across enterprise and regional markets.
Monitors sales marketing narratives, and works with partner groups across marketing, research, product and brand to provide recommendations and solutions to narratives, to drive client engagement and business.
Oversees team's creation of high value programming and sports resources and partners with stakeholders on integrated marketing solutions stories, targeted at specific market segments.
Develops and effectively communicates department policies, procedures and practices.
Develops, trains and mentors sales development team members.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
