Description

This Senior Product Marketer role is responsible for developing and activating marketing strategies for key group health insurance products that deepen awareness and engagement with Humana products and services among agents, brokers and employers. This role will have two, primary areas of focus - supporting the development of strategic marketing plans and developing and activating high-visibility marketing strategies that engage stakeholders - particularly agents, brokers and employers - with Humana's products, services and strategies. The Senior Product Marketer will be responsible for creating the product value proposition and aligning the product positioning and messaging strategy to target the intended consumer. A key component of this will include working with Product Managers to establish product launch and adoption strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, and future product development. This role plans, develops, and executes promotional campaigns that inform the organization's target market of the merits of purchasing its products and services. The Senior Product Marketer also researches, writes, designs, and edits collateral that is effective and appropriate for the intended audience.

Outstanding project management capabilities, solid marketing technical mastery, strategic thinking, strong Microsoft PowerPoint design and presentation skills, and follow through are critical to meet the role's responsibilities. This position requires the ability manage multiple projects from concept to completion, drive strategy and execution, and collaborate with senior-level leaders, market leaders, and across teams of managers, professionals and analysts. This Senior Professional role will work closely with their leader, Employer Group Marketing team members, and internal business partners to provide trusted counsel on marketing strategy, target audience development and activation strategies and annual planning.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Creating compelling and strategic marketing plans based on business partner objectives
Developing, executing, and managing integrated marketing communication plans across digital marketing channels
Acting as a liaison between internal partners and cross-functional marketing partners to develop and activate marketing plans and strategies in support of business priorities
Understanding broker/agent and employer perceptions and needs, and leading the development of strategic initiatives and tools to fulfill those needs while building the Humana Employer Group and enterprise brand
Ensuring marketing tactics are on-brand, consistent in voice and tonality, and optimized for search and user experience across channels including Humana owned, Social, SEM, Display, Email, Mobile, Video, offline, etc.
Devising engagement strategies for open enrollment experiences for members
Delivering measurement strategies to accompany marketing activities and overseeing to ensure execution; leading and managing effective reporting and related communications to the business
Managing external resources and vendors; collaborating cross-functionally and throughout the organization


Role Essentials


Bachelor's or 7 years of marketing experience
5 years of business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, and product and content marketing with a focus on B2B
Outstanding, demonstrated project management skills
Strong, demonstrated skills developing marketing strategies
Marketing experience with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritize a diverse set of projects
Ability to influence, and collaborate in a cross-functional environment
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to communicate at all levels of an organization
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and a minimum internet connection speed of 10M x 1M


Roles Desirables


Master's Degree of Business Administration or other advanced degree
Some sales or sales support experience - including the development of value proposition messaging, marketing plans and open enrollment deliverables
Prior employer group healthcare marketing experience preferred
