Market Research firm is looking to hire a seasoned researcher for a Group Research Director role which will report into the VP of Quantitative research. The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple quantitative market research studies and will independently manage all aspects of each project, to ensure successful completion, on time and within budget, while meeting and exceeding client expectations. This position works closely with the project team throughout the project lifecycle in an environment that fosters teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
: Independently manage multiple research projects simultaneously
Strong written and oral communication skills
Oversee field work
Direct and manage complex national and international quantitative research projects
Manage fielding of projects
Manage employee retention and staff the project teams at appropriate levels
Work with project teams to provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations that positively affect client's business
Train and mentor staff to build industry, marketing, and unique client knowledge to advance analytic insights and research capabilities
Partner with and provide guidance to Project Directors, Junior Project Directors, and Interns on market research best practice
Ability and willingness to travel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and project teams and meet aggressive timelines
Comply with pharmacovigilance activities for pharmaceutical clients, as applicable
Requirements
: BA/BS in related field (market research, psychology, sociology, economics, business, industrial psychology, etc.)
Excellent MS Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SPSS
7 years’ experience in market research
Proven high-level communication skills with both internal teams and clients
