What We’re Looking For:
The Director of Product Marketing Analytics will be responsible for designing, testing and implementing strategies across products to improve the performance of 2U/edX offerings to drive revenue. This individual will serve as a lead and key collaborator on the Subscriptions offering on the edX marketplace to grow B2C revenue, MicroBootcamps, and other innovation products. This individual will research and develop pricing strategies for marketplace offerings to optimize revenue. This individual will also be accountable for measuring the efficacy of strategies tested, building reporting mechanisms to report findings, and ensuring that high value strategies are scaled across the portfolio. This position will require significant collaboration with leadership across the organization.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Product Performance Analysis
// Partner closely with Marketing Growth and Analysis team to quantify performance across product lines. Formulate recommendations to improve performance. Maintain and update clear data-driven POV on product line best practices (20%)
Subscription Strategy
// Lead the development, testing, and implementation of subscription services for edX products. Monitor and measure efficacy of subscription strategies
Pricing Strategy
// Develop standard analytical frameworks to identify products fit for “right-pricing” strategies based on key market insights including competition, consumer insights and affordability metrics. Monitor and measure efficacy of pricing strategies across the portfolio
Product Development and Innovation
// Work directly with leadership across product lines to develop on ramps and off ramps across the ‘free to degree’ spectrum of offerings. Partner with Data Science to enhance lifetime valuation models and design optimal user journeys for prospects. Identify and develop recommendations for new opportunities based on data and insights derived from edX platform and audience needs.
Prospective Student Channel Development
// Leverage overall 2U ecosystem to identify new prospective student channels that can be targeted with existing 2U products (examples include international, military, or enterprise channels). Develop and test strategies to drive enrollment into existing programs for new prospect student channels; use findings to identify product gaps to inform and influence broader new program growth strategy
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree a plus
At least 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience
A clear understanding of the higher education landscape
7 years’ experience utilizing data and analytics to formulate sound program objectives, solve business problems, and drive business strategy
Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles, and develop trusting relationships at all levels
Demonstrated organizational skills, and ability to work independently and autonomously

While this position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., we will prioritize those who live in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and who are available to come into our Headquarters in Lanham, MD two days a week.
