Job Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator is the creative thinker responsible for the production of marketing, advertising, and communications materials, plans, and programs for Luminate.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
Produce creative marketing and communications campaigns and materials with relevant impressions across multiple mediums aimed at increasing customer count, improving ROI, customer perception & brand awareness
In coordination with consultants and assigned staff, develop and execute comprehensive, cost effective, marketing plans including but not limited to community events, promotions, digital marketing, messaging, promotional items, and advertising
Establish, improve, enhance, and/or maintain Luminate’s web presence, social media presence, digital marketing strategy, search engine marketing, and search engine optimization with the ability to cater to a variety of customer demographics
Lead organizational efforts to improve Luminate brand recognition, such as, events, sponsorships, publications, and community engagement
Research external forces and drivers through objective market and competitive analysis across various markets, using this data to inform marketing and communications efforts.
Analyze customer counts and lines of business monthly, quarterly, and annually to represent the health of the company and trending in support of marketing and advertising campaigns and efforts
Utilize creative software solutions to produce deliverables with the ability to use analytic tools (billing software, Google analytics, social media analytics, etc.) for success/failure rates, and adapt marketing programs based on effectiveness.
Qualifications
To perform the Marketing Coordinator role successfully, an individual should have the following education, competencies, and experience:
Proven experience in marketing and/or communications is required, 4 years or more preferred
BA degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
Strong understanding of various digital marketing strategies including social media platforms, websites, SEO, SEM, etc., and the purpose and effectiveness of each as it relates to marketing products & services
Professional photography, videography, and/or graphic design portfolio preferred.
Able to work in both independently and within a team setting collaborating with colleagues on ideas, solutions and execution
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
Confident public speaker with the ability to capture audiences and sustain attention throughout the speaking engagement
Curious individual who recognizes what is working and what isn’t and adapts accordingly
Must have the ability to plan several months in advance and execute plans
High proficiency with MS Office applications, graphics and pagination software
Strong ability to adapt to a changing environment and evolve through that change
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
Knowledge of company products and services
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
Skill in handling sensitive situations in a professional manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
Essential Functions
Physical Effort and Dexterity
: This position requires sitting to complete work with a computer using a variety of software applications and telephone calls. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent in the office while approximately 25% of the time will be spent in the communities served
Visual Acuity, Hearing and Speaking
: Must be able to communicate clearly for work and safety compliance. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to Visual and audio acuity is essential to this position proficiency in using standard office equipment.
Environment/Working Conditions:
Normal office conditions, irregular hours will be required including some weekend and evening work based on community events and public engagements. Occasional day time travel for training or various errands as needed to complete the responsibilities of the position.
