This role directly reports to Events Manager.This role can be located in Chicago, New York, Florida, Texas or virtual/hybrid Chicago , New York or Florida, Texas regions.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.Skills and experience that will lead to success:Support the regional events team to deliver first-class work product and programs, while managing multiple tasks at onceProduce, review, monitor, update and action all project-related documentation, ensuring that appropriate records are maintained and filed correctlyAttendance at events providing onsite support and ensuring smooth running of the event, set-up and breakdown - this role requires national/regional travelSupport to create and manage schedules including production, event, staffing, etc.Maintain a strong relationship with vendors and venues, include suppliers, contractors, photographers, catering, set designManage merchandise requirements, including ideas, research, procurement, inventory management and distributionResearch, evaluate and accurately/comprehensively prepare all delegate communication material in support of the smooth transition and attendance of invited guests at relevant conferences/eventsEfficiently and successfully organize and coordinate the logistics and administration of all assigned travel and accommodation requirements in support of the client’s activity (ex. NA)Manage dedicated regional mailbox and comms channels for the region, providing appropriate and timely follow-ups to colleagues and customers communicationsCommunicate effectively in writing and verbally building positive relationships with team members, clients and suppliersResponsible for packing/shipping of supplies to and from event destinationMaintain regional event calendar, providing transparency and promotion of regional event activities and their impact.
