Job Description:
Shell is looking for an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager for America’s most trusted motor oil brand: Pennzoil, and the Just Damn Good Oil: Quaker State.
In this role you will lead the planning, ideation, creation, delivery and measurement of all aspects of Pennzoil and Quaker State (PQS) through-the-line communications with world-class agency partners and direct collaboration with the global brand team.
You will also manage, activate and reconcile significant communications budgets across paid, owned and earned channels.
This role requires partnership and collaboration across global and North America cross- functional teams, including but not limited to brand, digital, marketing activation, insights, influencer, channel (Do It Yourself (DIY), Do It For Me (DIFM) and Indirect, portfolio, technology, product management, Lubricant Supply Chain, finance and legal.
This role reports to the Senior Global Marketing and Communications Manager.
Dimensions
Co-ordinate the planning and production of all marketing communications materials for deployment across all channels based on the brand strategy and creative idea.
Manage and administer relationship and processes with key agencies including assessment and remuneration – delivering on time and in budget.
Partner with Brand team and the global Media Agency during the development of PQS media planning process.
Brief the Digital team on the brand requirements to support the global comms plan.
Work directly with and help develop the Global Digital and Trade Innovations Manager (who shares same reporting line) to ensure integrated comms and strategy throughout the consumer and trade customer journeys.
Ensure consistent adherence to visual identity of materials and alignment with PQS branding policies and legal requirements.
Ensure all materials are available through the Marketing Resource Centre and where appropriate on the Distributor Portal.
Pro-actively communicate new/updated materials to wider marketing community.
Track effectiveness of materials and programs implementation and conduct Post Investment Reviews.
Leverage data and insights from wide range of sources to identify future market trends, competitive activities, and developments, particularly with influencing and re-image activities.
Proactively develop creative opportunities for developing and leveraging Retail-Lubes synergy in N. America.
Driving a positive HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) culture by focusing on generative activities that may impact themselves, the office or customer environments.

Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Minimum of seven (7) years experience in brand and marketing communications.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably Communications, Marketing or related field.
Through the Line (TTL) Marketing Communications Expertise.
Comprehensive experience of and thorough understanding of content production including broadcast media (TV Advertisements).
Sincere passion around automotive/car racing is preferred. Ferrari, Maserati, BMW, Formula 1, NASCAR Cup Series, Supercars Championship, IndyCar Series, etc.
Must be willing to travel (up to 20%) including international destinations for TV Ad shoots and global team meetings
Proven experience in Creative and PR agency management.
Strong communication skills with ability to influence using data, insights and research while championing the voice of the customer.
Displays leadership, creative skills, communication and ability to drive results through others.
Creative skills: the ability to guide and recognize great work when approaching aspects of brand and innovation, and talk with experience when developing work with lead strategic and creative agency partners.
Strong project management skills, analytical skills, planning and organizing.
Ability to oversee and track multiple projects with due dates and varying requirements and priorities.
Demonstrated commitment to being accountable for delivered results plus the ability and initiative to accept high levels of delegated responsibility and work with minimal supervision.
Excellent people skills, able to foster relationships quickly and manage multiple senior stakeholders.
Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
