This position is remote, or on-site (preferred region California, Texas, Pacific Northwest, New England).

Under the direction of the Global Marketing Manager, the Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy and technology roadmap for assigned product lines resulting in product line growth and profitability.
This position has no direct reports and requires an individual who has proficient interpersonal skills to achieve results by cooperation.
The individual will need to interface with a wide range of individuals, internal and external, domestic and international. Marketing duties relative to the product line include: Product line management (analyzing growth and profitability by product line, proposing and managing product line extensions, optimization and rationalization projects, pricing, branding, product positioning; Compilation of technical data, selection and implementation of tools & material to support the sales team) and Marketing Communication (trade shows, advertising and technical communications).
Essential Functions
Product management I
- Product stewardship and life cycle management of existing product portfolio, will be responsible for applying consistent product management tools & methodologies for the Electronics business unit. Conduct analysis of product line profitability and develop new tools to monitor portfolio growth and profitability. Propose actions and lead projects for line extensions, optimizations, and rationalizations. Monitoring of competitive offerings in the market place, including products, price levels and associated service offerings & Propose pricing initiatives for the affected product lines.
Product management II
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, QA & sales team to develop product roadmap and support material needed to enable proper life time management of specific product line (optimization, development & extension, technology transfers, licensing agreements, external partnerships).
Marketing communications
- Maintain existing & develop new sales tools and support information, to promote assigned product lines. Develop technical product content to be delivered digitally through videos, websites, social media, etc. in partnership with digital marketing team.
Market research
- Interface with customers and sales team to identify unmet needs and translate into innovation pipeline, building business cases for investments and new product development programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Business Field is required
Masters degree in Business or Finance is preferred
Work Experience
4 years of experience in Product Management - Demonstrated knowledge and ability to oversee the product management responsibilities of a globally manufactured and sold product portfolio is required
2 years of experience in Marketing or Sales or Technical experience is preferred
2 years of experience in a wet process( CMP and/or Cleaning and/or Chemical distribution system) is preferred

Employee is responsible to adhere to the Saint-Gobain Life Sciences Quality Policy and to understand their role and responsibilities within the applicable Quality Management System; the following Quality System Elements are applicable to this role: Product line strategy, Technology road mapping, portfolio rationalization
Practical and Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of common Product Management practices, procedures and analytical methodologies
MS Office - Excel, Team, PowerPoint, Word
Knowledge of Semicon front end application : Experience in a wet process( CMP and/or Cleaning and/or Chemical distribution system) by either working in a Semiconductor fab, an OEM working for the Semiconductor industry or a liquid/gas manufacturer serving this industry is preferred
Polymer & more especially fluoropolymer knowledge & processing is preferred
Fluid mechanics is preferred
Leadership and Communication Skills
