Position Summary
The Associate, Retention Marketing is responsible for coordinating and executing email and mobile marketing campaigns for the US, Canada and Mexico markets. This includes personalized, promotional, triggered, journey and retail emails, with the goal of driving profitable growth from our Direct-to-Consumer business. This role will manage day-to-day operations including authoring project plans for campaign build, creating tracking codes, securing and delivering final creative assets, and overseeing the proofing and approval process for on-time and accurate campaign deployment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations and execution of the email & push app marketing programs.
Author project plans for the campaign build of email & push app campaign with key inputs: deployment date/time, audiences, creative assets, urls, tracking codes, testing, dynamic elements, versioning, etc.
Create tracking codes to ensure accurate reporting.
Secure and deliver final assets for each campaign to the dev team.
Manage the proofing and approval process for accurate and on-time campaign deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to collect information and feedback and manage execution of changes within the appropriate deadlines.
Collaborate with DTC & Creative teams to ensure deliverables are aligned to channel goals and received on-time.
Support implementation of the testing calendar to continually test new creative, tactics, tools, and apply learnings to optimize the day-to-day strategies.
Stay up to date on competitive landscape, best practices, and trends in Email and Mobile marketing.
Make recommendations to improve any aspects of the email marketing programs.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Highly collaborative and has an affinity for building relationships across teams including business partners and external agencies/vendors.
Strong project management and attention to detail
Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
3 years of experience coordinating promotional, triggered or transactional email marketing campaigns
Experience with an enterprise ESP is a plus (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
