Interactive Brokers Group is seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our marketing team and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment. As Social Media Manager ,
you will be responsible for leading, managing, and implementing our Social Media strategy for B2B, B2C and influencer audiences. You will leverage customer and market insights, to drive best-in-class channel operations and management.
The Social Media Manager will play a critical role in building and maintaining our user growth and our online presence. You will be responsible for amplifying our products and service offerings through various social media channel campaigns. You will lead your team (3-5 members) to prioritize content origination, community management, and measurement, keeping Interactive Brokers at the forefront of the industry.
This role is perfect for candidates who have B2B, B2C and influencer social media marketing experience, as well as familiarity and interest in the financial services industry and in regulations. The ideal candidate is self-driven, has attention to details, and knows the online advertising business from the inside out. The candidate will be able to work with a highly regulated environment by obtaining approvals and retaining records.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Interactive Brokers social media efforts, from content development to performance evaluation.
Drive execution of paid and organic social media strategies to ensure we generate growth with our target audiences and business goals, along with brand recognition and positive perceptions.
Manage mobile app marketing campaigns that not only drive app installs but also lower funnel mobile activities.
Guide and lead the team to create, publish, and share content, including copy, graphics, videos, and images.
Gather and evaluate social media analytics, research target audience preferences and current trends to drive best-in-class channel operations and management.
Set specific objectives for social media initiatives, track performance, and report on campaign performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Envision and manage social media partnerships.
Work with marketing partners and compliance teams to ensure compliance and on-time delivery of assets.
Identify opportunities for improving and/or building on campaigns.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field is desired. MBA a plus.
5 years experience in social media management, with a track record of success in paid and organic social media advertising.
Experience leading a social media team.
Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms - Sprinklr, Social Bakers, Hootsuite or similar platforms.
Deep understanding of all social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok) and social/influencer management tools to optimize engagement.
Highly analytical mindset, with excellent research skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications, time management, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent Google Suite and Microsoft Suite skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong copywriting skills are highly desirable.
Knowledge of financial services marketplace a plus.
