What We’re Looking For:
SEO Coordinators implement strategy to help grow the organic footprint for 2U university partners. He/she will collaborate with internal teams such as Web Analytics, Web Production, Brand and Content to complete SEO projects and deliver data-driven recommendations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing and higher education to develop a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing while improving their technical and analytical SEO skill sets.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Perform on-page optimizations through keyword research and mapping, improving site structure, developing content strategies, and updating metadata
Monitor SEO performance using tools such as BrightEdge, Majestic, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Internal Dashboards
Educate internal teams and school partners about SEO best practices and the latest trends
Create ad-hoc reports and site audits for SEO Team, internal stakeholders, and university partners
Support SEO team to test, analyze, optimize and scale SEO campaigns
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree (in a business, data, or communications related field is a plus)
Previous working corporate experience (either internship or full-time)
Demonstrates analytical thinking, attention to detail and organization
Excellent communication, presentation, writing and research skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and possesses strong data management skills
Self-motivated, creative and team oriented
No previous SEO experience required, just the passion to always learn more about an always changing field
Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:
Experience with a Web Analytics platform such as Google Analytics
