Job Purpose/Summary:

The Marketing Communications Manager will be a member of the Marketing Communications and Design Team and will support the brand building efforts for Tyson's Prepared retail brands, both domestically and internationally. This person will help steward Tyson’s brands through project support on key strategic & executional brand communications initiatives. This person will collaborate with business owners, creative agencies, and cross-functional teams to enable communications that keeps our brands salient, relevant, and poised for growth. She/he/they will report to the Director, Advertising.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports strategic paths for international growth including the creation & ownership of brand playbooks, fostering relationships with international teams and providing communications best practices.

Facilitates and participates in the Global Equity Council to influence global brand communications

Directly stewards US brand strategy via the marketing briefing process, in collaboration with brand marketing, consumer insights, and agency partners

Supports US advertising campaigns by managing advertising agency partners in their development and execution of advertising campaigns

Collaborates with internal teams to evaluate creative decisions

Collaborates with media and PR teams to execute annual Integrated Marketing Communications process and timelines

Influences campaign-related research initiatives, in conjunction with consumer insights

Builds strong relationships with various internal & agency leadership teams

Helps to establishes and oversee advertising KPIs and measurement priorities

Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree required

Experience: 7 years of hands-on experience in advertising roles, with agency and international experience a must. CPG experience a plus.

Computer Skills: proficient in Microsoft Office

Communication Skills: Able to collaborate and build relationships with internal marketers, international teams and agency partners. Able to effectively navigate decisions when there are conflicting priorities and opinions.

Special Skills: Skilled at identifying, influencing, and championing great creative work. Understands the strategic thinking behind strong consumer insights and how this applies to creative work. Well versed in traditional and digital media landscapes. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Ability to proactively deliver ideas and problem solve to support international team initiatives

Travel: 5-10% possible; various locations for production shoots, some international (i.e. Canada)
