The Marketing Manager works in a cross-fuctional team representing the entire student lifecycle, from interest to academics to student support. Collaborating with these stakeholders, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of unique marketing strategies and campaigns in support of UC Online certificates and degree programs. The Marketing Manager will utilize a diversified promotional mix that yields a quantifiable and significant return on marketing investments across the spectrum of channels. This approach will be aligned with the goal of increasing student enrollments and revenue. In addition, the Marketing Manager leads and implements brand strategy development, research, copywritinig, interpersonal collaboration, project management, analysis, and staff/vendor relationships. The Marketing Manager will positively impact the fiscal performance of the programs assigned and the quality of UC Online relationships with internal and external constituents who are collaborative partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least three (3) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must be in product marketing and campaign planning, including direct and/or interactive marketing, research, messaging, positioning, copywriting.
Additional Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in marketing or a related field and product management and/or ad agency experience. Candidates should be able to demonstrate capacity for developing and understanding marketing strategy, search/online advertising and pay-per-click, excellent creative and copywriting skllls, proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel), basic understanding and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and website content management, project management fundamentals, and negotiation ability.
