Who?

Aptean’s Marketing Team is hiring for a Marketing Specialist who is responsible for developing and executing industry and solution-level corporate marketing programs. The person in this position will demonstrate strong campaign project management skills, including planning, promotion, execution, and material development, and the ability to drive up-sell, cross-sell, SaaS conversions and digital transformation to existing customers and new software sales. This position will work closely with other marketing team members, executives, product teams and sales to understand the goals/objectives of our corporate campaigns team, with particular focus on demand generation activities to drive quality leads and pipeline. Candidates will have a successful track record of developing and executing marketing programs, managing customer events, promoting webinar attendance and have a deep understanding of the synergetic relationship between Marketing, Sales, and Product Management.

A seasoned, experienced B2B marketing professional with a full understanding of their area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

Complexity:

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Supervision:

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1. Plan and execute marketing programs, events/webinars and related activities to ensure that these meet organizational goals and expectations.

2. Generate leads through integrated marketing campaigns that leverage key tactics, including email, content syndication, advertising, social media, events, webinars, etc.

3. Remain well-informed on marketing trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into the strategy for optimizing the company’s marketing investment.

4. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with inside sales, field sales, EUG teams and product management.

5. Work closely with product marketing and management to execute product launches and customer campaigns for Aptean solutions.

6. Execute campaigns in line with budget and demonstrate positive ROI in line with agreed targets.

7. Support additional demand generation and customer campaigns and events as needed.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Typically requires a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience marketing B2B enterprise software solutions (ERP/CRM/SCM marketing experience strongly preferred) with a Bachelor’s degree.

Strong understanding of the program marketing principles and execution.

Skills and Abilities:

· Creative thinker and understanding of positioning the right message to the right audience.

· Strong understanding of marketing operations, automation and measuring ROI.

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior management and peers across multiple organizations, geographic regions and/or cultures.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and other stakeholders.

· Keen understanding of marketing objectives and strategies within a B2B environment.

· Experience using Microsoft Office products

· Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills.

· Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.

· Strong desire to undertake ongoing professional study and training.
