Responsibilities
Humana's Corporate Marketing Analytics and Data team is seeking a Database Marketing Lead to join working remote anywhere in the US. As the Lead you will have a team of approximately 3-5 direct reports who will support the Pharmacy line of business within our Marketing organization and the Marketing Data Strategy, Analytics, & Measurement teams specifically, in designing and delivering data to enable efficient and effective:
Communications execution - messaging to consumers across the consumer lifecycle - from prospect to member and across recipient roles (consumers, providers, agents, employers)
Marketing analytics - consumer segmentation and analysis to facilitate personalized communications and precision targeting
Campaign reporting - automated, standardized reporting to measure operational, response, and outcomes to evaluate tests in market and adjust rapidly if/when needed
Key Role Functions
Work with Pharmacy clients, Marketing strategy associates, and digital partners to define an audience framework and data strategy for the portfolio
Function as the data technology and strategy client subject matter expert, acting as a client steward and trusted partner, ensuring the technology ecosystem fits together while leading the implementation of any desired changes and proactively suggesting optimizations to improve data fluidity, reducing data lost/ improving data match rates
Find and deliver enhanced ways to connect digital data to offline data and ensure that new omni-channel activities are able to be tracked and integrated with existing data platforms
Collaborate with Marketing Digital Data Lead on data strategy for digital and advertising data
Collaborate with Marketing partners throughout the lifecycle - from strategy & design through execution to measurement to ensure a end-to-end feedback loop is implemented and measurement is standardized and enabled
Work/Solve problems with diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial
Assist senior leadership in development of functional strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Information Technology
OR
10 years of related experience
5 years of experience in driving data strategy that enables the optimization of omni-channel media marketing campaigns, reporting and analytics
Strong data and data-driven marketing knowledge, able to interpret client business/technical requirements and support in translating these into clearly articulated learning agendas & strategies to accelerate how data and technology supports the maximization of client business outcomes
Proven ability to partner with marketing associates on campaign strategy & design, ensuring data needed to execute and measure that campaign are captured at all relevant points
Experience with marketing performance measurement data thru the use of tools such as Adobe Analytics, IBM Digital Analytics and/or Google Analytics
Use of DMP and CDP solutions in data driven use cases, application in campaigns, and general adoption through strategy to connect to a wider spectrum of datasets, particularly first and second person data
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
Strong analytical skills and an ability to support multiple priorities
Proven ability to lead projects and project teams
Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Health insurance industry experience, particularly within the Pharmacy line of business
Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Azure experience
Strong team player with a con-do attitude and an ability to simplify as well as go into detail when necessary
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and vendors
Proven record of working with large sets of analytical data
Proficient in interpreting marketing data, finding gaps, and driving solutions
Proven understanding of MarTech/AdTech landscape and how different tools enhance marketing capabilities and the data strategy needed to enable them
Experience with Structured Query Language
