Job Description
Nutanix is hiring a
Director of Strategic Accounts Marketing
to drive growth within a targeted set of high-value accounts, ultimately driving influence, engagement, and long-term customer relationships.
This role requires a passionate, innovative, results and data driven marketer that uses marketing insights and a deep understanding of the sales landscape to align with the business. The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively communicate a vision and orchestrate a strategic marketing plan with a positive, collaborative, team-focused attitude.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Northeast Enterprise, Canada, GSI and Global Accounts, you will have the opportunity to showcase your program management and communication skills to direct strategic account-based programs ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and working together to deliver a high-quality experience for customers and prospects.
Remote position: preferably located in New York, New Jersey, or New England
Key Responsibilities
Leads AMER data-driven practice and playbook with the goal of building and accelerating pipeline for high-value strategic accounts including (15) North Global accounts in the Americas
Develop and deliver innovative marketing strategies and programs across high-value strategic accounts that takes an account-first approach to driving demand using various techniques and tools including account plans, insights, digital, events, and social media
Curate on-brand content necessary to support account-based programs that align with the customer journey, including working with internal and external resources to develop and update existing content with messaging and personas for the target audience
Leverage data-driven insights (and tools) to get ahead of market trends and establish Nutanix as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts
Lead agency relationships to execute account strategies and tactics
Build relationships with strategic key account leaders in Sales and Marketing
Partner with Internal Nutanix teams, such as – Field Marketing, Digital, Customer Success, Product & Solution Marketing, Inside Sales, Sales, Programs, Campaigns, GSI, OEM and Channel Partners to surround, drive influence, engagement, and penetration into the strategic accounts
Guides Enterprise Field Marketing Managers on best practice and usage of modern marketing tools and methodologies, such as, Demandbase, XiQ, Domo, Intent, etc
Works closely with Financial Services Industry Solutions Marketing Mgr. on creating and implementing a marketing strategy for the top Financial Services Global Accounts in Americas
Develop, monitor, analyze and report on KPIs and impact of the marketing plan for strategic accounts to identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques and processes
Prepare promotional and strategic presentations/updates for the executive team
Own and manage the strategic account marketing budget, being vigilant in tracking and effective in spend
Qualifications & Experience
8 years in marketing, with measurable experience across a variety of disciplines: B2B, field, account-based, alliance, digital, event/industry marketing. Experience preferably with enterprise and global account audiences. An understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies is a plus.
Deep understanding of marketing metrics and strong analytical capabilities required to interpret program success
Experience developing and executing highly creative multi-channel demand generation and ABM campaigns including social, webinars, email, paid digital, direct mail, events, partner marketing etc.
Exceptional project and budget management skills with superb attention to detail
Standout communication skills with extraordinary ability to collaborate constructively and cross-functionally
Strong people and project management, negotiation and decision-making skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
Proficient in modern demand generation channels and when to deploy each type of tactic for maximum ROI
Hands-on experience with modern marketing platforms and tools such as Demandbase, Salesforce, paid media etc.
Detail oriented with proven project management and process improvement capabilities
Experience fostering strong business relationships with Enterprise and/or Global Account sales teams
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field of study
