SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for monitoring product availability and inventory as directed by the category marketing team and assist with product quality cuttings and recaps. This position will assist the MBU team on projects related to existing core business as well as new product development and new product launches, organizing and pulling financial reports, and any other category related activities that may arise. Requires work in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting marketing managers in various projects for the category management team. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with interest in learning about the company as a whole and about food service.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Marketing, Finance, Business Management majors preferred. Junior level or higher required.
Experience: Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this position interacts with all levels of management in different areas of the business.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, (Excel and PowerPoint are very critical to this position). We will train in Tyson related systems.
Special Skills: Must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented, and able to handle the various projects they are given. Must be multi-task oriented with stress management skills as well as a team player who is excited to learn more about Tyson Foods
Travel: Limited; Local travel only.
