We are looking for someone with strong outward and forward-looking orientation with a proven ability to handle change, transition and a dynamic working environment.
We want you to lead the development of an innovative marketing capability that aligns with global Shell Energy branding and supports Shell Energy and New Energies in taking their Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) to companies operating on multiple continents.
The role will involve:
Driving an accelerated Segmentation Growth Strategy
Identify the Sustainability drivers in key markets and customers that will allow the identification of high priority sectors and accounts through:
Working closely with SEGA Sales to identify priority segments to target and analyze trends across various industries (in conjunction with regional Clean Energy Solutions efforts).
Researching potential customers’ sustainability policies to support our pipeline expansion with Identification of customers’ global footprint and alignment with Shell’s capabilities
Maintain the pipeline of opportunities to include tracking of Gross Margin generated (coordinating updates across Regions & CoBs)
Support development of integrated Customer Value Propositions (CVPs), working with Regional Sales & Marketing organizations, bespoke to local Shell capabilities and current/future customer needs
Work with Sales to develop/maintain a virtual CRM system as a repository of customer engagements (centrally accessible Call Reports, presentations, customer account strategies, etc.
Consolidating and integrating across Shell Energy Regions with development of aligned marketing collateral
There continues to be rapid development across both Shell Energy and New Energies (IE: Clean Energy Solutions, Shell Energy Inside, Solar east & west, EV acquisitions, etc.).
Leverage market knowledge, competitive positioning, research insights, brand building to position SE as the leading/differentiated provider of sustainable energy solutions
Working with marketers in other regions to define capabilities by region.
Integrating the clean energy solutions and sustainability agenda into the wider Shell Energy community
Coach performance and build marketing competencies within SEAM and across SEGA marketing staff
Communicating / Socialization across Lines of Business
Develop a communication methodology for internal Relationship Managers across multiple Lines of Business (e.g. Lubes, Retail, Aviation, LNG, etc.) and contribute to/selectively participate in customer prospecting, supporting overall Sales efforts.
Develop marketing materials to be used by SEGA account managers in their customer meetings and prospecting outreach.
Coordinate with External Relations and commercial teams to ensure Shell is well represented at key external forums, including Trade Associations (e.g. RE100 and REBA), select conferences, etc
Ensure development of a fit-for-purpose social/digital strategy to ensure effective reach, and engagement with targeted audiences, including customers, sectors, influencers and key stakeholders

Requirements:
• Extensive Marketing professional work experience including significant B2B experience and a proven track record of delivering successful results in a customer-led environment.
• As the primary products and services being sold are related to power, risk management, and energy efficiency/Behind the Meter solutions, knowledge of clean energy technology/sustainability drivers are preferred.
• Experienced in customer insights, CVP development, new markets/sector growth through a professional strategic approach
• Commercial acumen and creativity: drive to grow business, the experience of introducing bold new concepts, and managing risk.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record in aligning multiple and differentiated stakeholders in a dynamic environment; comfortable with ambiguity and change
• Experience working in a global environment: multi-cultural sensitivities; able to deliver through others.
