Responsibilities
The Senior Professional, Field/Sales Marketing plans and organizes local marketing and sales programs. Acts as the point persons for outside, inside and partner sales teams. Gathers and reports customer intelligence to sales teams. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Position Overview
The Sales Channel Marketing Communications role is responsible for co-development of Humana's agent communications strategy, while creating robust, multi-channel agent communication campaigns that differentiates Humana among agents as a preferred carrier, grows the agent footprint, and enables sales. The Sales Channel Marketing Communications Associate will be responsible for offering tactical leadership for a broad range of communication campaigns and activating various communication channels to drive preference and advocacy with our Agent community. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion on initiatives that align with the enterprise marketing objectives and MarketPoint sales priorities.
Responsibilities
Responsible for development and implementation of comprehensive, multi-channel agent communication plan designed to position Humana as a trusted and valued business partner
Co-collaborate on the development of internal stake holder and agent communications governance
Execute automated and behavior based communications plans leveraging cloud journey technology
Develop and deliver creative agent communications tactics to grow preference and advocacy among Humana's agent community
Build communications measurement model including, but not limited to campaign metrics and KPI's and track progress towards Humana being an industry leader in agent communications
Collaborate across the enterprise with leaders across functions to gain alignment on key business priorities
Create dynamic, customized, and segmented communication tactics to recruit, inform, and engage our agent population
Conduct regular research and focus groups to understand communications best practices and gather competitive intel
Assist in communications strategy development and lead day-to-day execution of all agent communication campaigns and tactics
Test and learn opportunities to activate various communications channels and leveraging data and results to make informed communication campaign decisions
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other business-related degrees
Minimum 1 year experience in Broker or Agent Communications at Humana
Minimum 5-10 years of B2B or D2C marketing and communications involved with all aspects of internal and external
Results driven with strong analytical and communications skills, well-organized, and proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
Effectively lead and execute marketing plans and work cross functionally with various parts of the marketing organization and throughout the entire enterprise
Strategic and creative thinker with proven experience of working with business partners and agency partners cross-functionally
Experience developing and managing strong relationships with business partners and agency partners
Experience in developing, implementing online, and offline communications campaigns.
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Proficiency in MS office, email marketing, and marketing automation technology (Marketo, Constant Contact, SilverPop/Acoustic, Elloqua, MailChimp, Sales Force Marketing Cloud etc.)
