What will I be doing?
Working with the Senior Manager, Supply Management Technology Platforms to lead all aspects of Salesforce environment-related projects and initiatives. The role is accountable for architecting, developing, and maintaining HSM’s Salesforce environments, including integrations between Salesforce and HSM Data Warehouse, websites, and other applications. The position requires knowledge of configuring and customizing Salesforce features and functionality, such as workflows, flow, process builder, and APEX. You will work closely with business end users, the database team, the ETL team, website developers, business intelligence developers, and third-party Salesforce implementation vendors. The role will own optimizing existing codebase and system architecture, with a focus on adding new Salesforce system capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and using Salesforce technology to drive Sales and Revenue Growth for HSM!
To be successful in this role, you will:
Develop and maintain custom applications, customizations, and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce development tools
Design and implement data models, security models, and automation processes
Work with internal partners to understand requirements, build functional design documentation, and develop technology solutions that align with business goals
Work with external partners to lead vendor relationships, define project requirements, and ensure project results meet expectations
Conduct unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure quality and reliability
Document technical designs, processes, and procedures
Troubleshoot and debug issues
Stay current with platform updates, releases, standard methodologies, and find opportunities to incorporate new features and technologies into existing applications
What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
Ability to lead multiple projects/Team Members simultaneously; prioritization; and communicating effectively throughout
Experience leading development and implementation of solutions in an enterprise environment
Hands-on experience building Lightning Web Components and Expert-level knowledge of Service Cloud development, configuration, features, and architecture
Experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems using the Salesforce.com API, as well as third-party REST-based APIs and integration tools (marketing automation, business intelligence, ETL)
Demonstrable ability to optimally incorporate metrics and dashboards within technology solutions
Accountable individual, who effectively communicates results and recommends improvements
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Five (5) years of professional experience in Data Architect, System Integration, Technology Platform solutioning, or related field
Three (3) years of specialized development experience in various Salesforce environments (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Analytics Cloud)
Salesforce Development and Administrator Certifications
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Project Management knowledge
Hospitality Industry experience
Supply chain management knowledge
