The Role:

Job Overview:

The Media Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the media operations team is running as well as it possibly can, with smooth and efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of other departments and customers.

The Role:

The Director of Marketing will oversee strategy and execution for all go-to-market activities across FastPay’s portfolio of agency, brand, and media supplier payment and AR solutions. They will manage a team responsible for demand gen, product marketing, and experiential activations. This position works cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Marketing, Client Success, and the executive leadership team to drive awareness, enable sales with tools to succeed, and drive campaigns to acquire new clients.

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing campaigns to drive top of funnel activity through a variety of channels including industry events, webinars, account-based marketing programs, and omni-channel demand generation. They are also responsible for outbound marketing activities such as working with the creative team to develop new content and thought leadership, drive strategy and messaging for events, and create ABM campaigns to drive revenue for FastPay payment solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 7 years in B2B marketing experience working in tech, finance, or media and must have a passion for leadership and innovation. You will be part of a collaborative development team that develops, tests, deploys and supports FastPay's suite of media finance products.

Job Responsibilities:

Creating data sets that meet business requirements

Managing schemas (tables and views) in the data warehouse to support business analysts' querying needs for business analysis

Building ETL jobs and required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using Cloud services (like AWS or Azure) and SQL technologies

Working with stakeholders including Product, Operations, and Executive teams to support their data and infrastructure needs while assisting them with data-related technical issues

Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics

Performing root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions

Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including better data hygiene, evolving infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes

Managing database users and permissions for production databases, as well as managing database instances for non-production environments

Skills & Experience:

3 years of any OOP languages including Python, Java, Scala, C

3 years of experience in Linux, SSH, SQL, and shell scripting

3 years of experience with relational databases including Postgres and MySQL

2 years of workflow management and pipeline tools including Airflow, Luigi and Azkaba

Experience with statistical computing and graphics like R programming language

Experience with Cloud environments, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure

Experience with application/service container technology like Docker is a plus

Experience with NoSQL databases including DynamoDB and Cassandra is a plus

Experience with big data tools including Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop is a plus

Excellent communication skills

Exceptional learning ability and willingness to meet challenges, exhibiting strong pride of ownership in work product

The Product Manager

is an accomplished achiever in designing, building and owning great software products. This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Operations and our clients to improve our existing products and create new products. We are looking for someone who has solid product management experience with some technical expertise in the field of software, electronic payments, or general financial services.

LOCATION:

This role can be located in Los Angeles, CA OR Framingham, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will interact with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to understand our clients’ goals and pain points and brainstorm ways to improve our products

Collaborate with Design and Engineering to bring your ideas to life, and roll them out to our clients quickly and painlessly

Study the media and B2B payments industry and ecosystem to understand strategic shifts and figure out how we can best capitalize of these developments

Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines

Provide detailed product specifications and requirements

Work closely with UI/UX designers, other product managers, and engineers to clarify requirements

Write detailed user stories, use cases and acceptance conditions

Work closely with project managers to organize and manage product development and product launches

Work in an agile framework and understand the scrum process

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in the fintech space

Engineering or computer science degree or related work experience

Passion for web-based technology products and services with a focus on the financing industry

Strong product sense with an ability to envision technology that delights and inspires users

Ability to drive the execution of the product according to our long-term product vision

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business and technical acumen
