Position Summary
Under Armour is searching for a Senior Manager, Global SEO that will develop and drive the SEO strategy for UA’s digital commerce experience. In this role you will leverage your technical SEO experience, analytical skills, and cross functional collaboration to create a roadmap that unlocks capabilities for regional SEO teams to drive organic growth while implementing best practices (tools/processes) to monitor the health of our SEO capabilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Global SEO owns the prioritization and roadmap for Global SEO capabilities as part of the global ecommerce platform on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
You will partner closely with regional SEO leaders to identify platform opportunities that will enable regional growth with an eye towards delivering these enhancements at global scale.
Collaborate with product team members to highlight SEO requirements within product feature roadmap to protect SEO investment.
Leverage data to assess opportunities, prioritize the roadmap and track the impact of improvements across regions to measure results.
Understand the competitive space better than anyone else, focusing on industry trends and SEO best practices. Share learnings across regions to create standards and best practices in tools usage across teams.
Partner with regional teams to establish shared KPIs for measuring SEO performance
Track and measure technical SEO health on the platform through auditing and reporting to uncover site issues.
Build a great team through clear goal definition, expectation setting, and mentorship so maximize teammate potential.
Know when to communicate what to whom. Bring teammates to the table at the right time and ensure effective flow of information across the team
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
A successful Senior Product Manager is passionate about great products and the consumer experience with the ability to break down complex problems and present to executive leadership concisely.
The Senior Product Manager is the entrepreneurial negotiator for their team. They can identify, negotiate, and secure resources needed for a plan that they define. They understand the priorities of their extended team (i.e., their Product / PA) and how to operate effectively within them. They proactively propose trade-offs in resourcing or scope and identify ways for disparate teams to work together to achieve a common goal.
You can collaborate with and motivate cross-discipline teams to achieve goals.
You are a very strong group presenter, giving clear and motivational presentations that align teams and compels people to action.
As such, your ability to communicate clearly is paramount. Product Management is art and science, strategy and tactics, passion, and reason. This requires succinct and effective written communication, and the ability to summarize a topic and provide teams with clear direction.
Education And / Or Experience
Minimum 5-7 years in technical SEO roles leading teams (E-Commerce experience preferred, Global experience a plus)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling complex issues. Proven ability to find answers to business questions via hands-on exploration of data and research.
Deep understanding of SEO methodologies and standards
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives while achieving deadlines
Exceptional ability to build cross functional relationships with technical and non-technical teams to achieve results
Skilled at creating engaging and well thought out presentations on variety of topics.
Passionate about making all athletes better around the world.
Other Requirements
Travel: IE- 1-2 times per quarter
Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, math, or related discipline. (MBA Preferred)
You have experience working with remote agencies, teammates, and customers in other countries.
You are skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing your work and problem solving.
You are diligent in documenting and standardizing your work.
You have experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, collaboration tools like Confluence and Roadmunk.
