Responsibilities
Humana is building a best-in-class Marketing organization to drive profitable membership growth across diverse business lines. The Communications Hub team is a part of Humana's Marketing & Communications organization, supporting marketing initiatives across the full consumer lifecycle. Having a solid foundation of capabilities and operational efficiencies that are modern & platforms-based is imperative to executing efficient and effective marketing strategies across all insurance segments (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Individual Specialty and Employer Group) and healthcare services segments (i.e. Pharmacy, Clinical, Home and CDO). We are seeking a talented Technology Leader to join our team.
The Technology Leader will establish strategy, develop business plans, and oversee and lead the design, development, and implementation of marketing technology solutions to meet business needs. Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes
Responsibilities
Lead execution for marketing technology program across the organization; have a deep understanding of the Marketing Technology stack, as well as software development practices.
Lead inclusive partnerships with key stakeholders within the department (including journey development, content creations, campaign management, marketing resource management, and leadership) to understand pain points/objectives/challenges/opportunities; bring simplicity to complex marketing technology so that all can understand; provide innovative solutions to achieve marketing goals through technology.
Oversight and vision of marketing technology, including advertising, email, text/SMS, app, website, customer relationship marketing (CRM), digital asset management (DAM), etc.
Establish and drive technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs.
Monitor reliability and health of the marketing technology platforms and manage delivery capabilities to increase stability, speed, and overall performance.
Lead compliance with all appropriate Privacy, Information Security, Data Governance protocols and laws.
Implement best practices for software development and DevOps standards.
Oversee work and asset management system upgrades, assessment and feasibility study.
Oversee development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps).
Work with scrum and agile leaders to identify project risks and plan mitigation actions.
Manage third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives.
Lead by example by emulating behaviors consistent with the new ways of working and Humana's values.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
5 or more years of experience leading marketing technology at enterprise scale to achieve business outcomes.
3 or more years of leadership experience with a strong track record of on-time delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
Proven success bridging technical/development teams with enterprise communication teams (media, creative, content, operations, brand management, etc.), including the ability to articulate business requirements.
Understands all aspects of marketing and communications including campaign management, audience selection, communication execution, reporting and analytics.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, limited resources, and tight deadlines; excellent leadership, delegation, and organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid expertise and experience with requirements management methods and tools (e.g., requirements analyses, specifications, modeling, reviews, etc.)
Demonstrated deep understanding of the current and emerging marketing technology landscape and experience formulating solutions with a customer-focused attitude to meet business needs and drive growth.
Strong project manager and problem solver with the ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress, formulating and achieving measured goals.
Strong analytical capabilities; experience using techniques like cost-benefit analysis for feature prioritization.
Experience with Agile Scrum and/or SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework).
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Aprimo, CDP, Digital Asset Management, Sprinklr, Templafy and Salesforce CRM/Commerce/Health is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certified
Six Sigma Certified
MBA or other Advanced Degree
