Humana's Marketing and Communications Organization is seeking an experienced Senior Brand Management Associate to join the Brand Management Team working remote anywhere in the US. As a part of this team, you will support Humana's Clinical Organization with their brand needs and to ensure that their programs and pilot bring the brand to life in day-to-day interactions.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Brand Management Associate, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization to name products, teams, or features following our brand architecture and naming guidelines. This includes the Legal Team to ensure trademark protection, the Sponsorship Team to plan or execute activation as needed as well as our internal agency - the Hive - to ensure marketing materials are aligned to brand strategies.

Key Role Functions

Control expenditure within budget for brand programs

Prepare brand marketing plans and discontinuation plans to ensure that the execution is in tune with strategies and objectives

Prepare Marketing Plans

Prepare brand reporting and dashboards and monitor brand marketing plans to achieve goals

Collaborate with market research to transform brand data into a clear story of the impacts that it is having on the business and with specific member segments

Liaison for internal departments and external agencies to ensure full communication and success of brand marketing plans

Contribute to creativity of brand executions, naming and brand strategies

Constantly monitor performance of managed brands to ensure it meets organization objectives

Ensure effective administration of brands through marketing proposals, product briefs, brand plans, etc. Identify new opportunities to build and differentiate our brand and proposes initial plans to exploit these opportunities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field

5 years of relevant experience

Progressive experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications

Ability to work within and monitor budgets

Proficiency in tracking and reporting key brand metrics

Project Management experience

Proficient in all Microsoft programs

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Prior health insurance industry experience

Prior ad agency experience a plus

Prior experience with designing and arranging website content

Additional Information/Requirements

Remote Requirements

All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.

Connectivity - Requirement Details

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)

Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
