Profile

This position will work directly with Sr Analyst in supporting the National Price List process by tracking markets, price list changes, and measure recovery dollars. They will also be responsible for creating the data and power points for our Pricing Council meetings with BU’s and Sales. The position will also help maintain the Food Service Prepared Foods formula and fixed pricing models - Over 75% of FS Prepared volume is outside of NPL. Ideal candidate will be familiar with understanding general market cost drivers in product categories and their impact on margin. The baseline understanding of costs will influence all aspects of business specific pricing and margin decisions and will ensure the basis for pricing decisions. The position will also be heavily involved in monthly LE and AOP process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Tracking protein markets

Calculating impact of markets to our cost

Preparing power points for Pricing Council meetings

Help with execution of monthly and quarterly pricing formulas

Help update formulas as changes occur to adders & markets

Adhoc scenarios for Pricing questions

Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree required. Accounting or Finance degree is preferred.

Experience: 2 years experience in finance, revenue, pricing or trade management is preferred.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on building complex Excel formulas, SAP

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Knowledge of foodservice and/or CPG industry is preferred; Trade, pricing, and revenue management experience strongly preferred. Financial acumen; general business management skills are helpful.

Supervisory: No direct reports

Travel: limited travel required, maybe 1 - 2 trips per year
