Summary:
We are looking for a Digital Commerce Marketing Manager who will help drive commerce for Tyson by navigating the dynamic landscape of retail media & search. We recognize that the way in which people shop is continually evolving and the Tyson Shopper Marketing team is poised to build optimal shopper experiences both in-store and on-line.
This customer-facing position is responsible for creating Digital Commerce marketing strategies across key customer accounts for Tyson Foods Retail Group. Collaborating with the eCommerce Center of Excellence, brand teams, national media team, and sales this individual will help build insight-based holistic solutions that improve the digital shelf and drive commerce.
Specific duties include:
Lead paid media components of retail media network strategies & own on- and off-site retail media solutions.
Lead the development of digital shopper marketing plans for Amazon, Instacart, Shipt and other emerging eCommerce retailers. Oversee the execution and on-going optimization of these plans.
Partner with Shopper Marketing Managers and Media COE to build retail media network solutions for Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons (and other omni-channel retailers) that are fully integrated into seamless shopper experiences that efficiently drive commerce.
Lead agency in development of innovative and efficient digital plans that fully integrate with in-store shopper and trade plans, synchronizing with national paid media.
Develop and maintain collaborative customer relationships with e-tailers and relevant retail media platforms (WM Connect, Quotient, etc), staying informed of latest capabilities and ways of working to ensure Tyson Foods is seen as a best-in-class partner.
Lead eComm JBPs/JGPs through collaborative partnerships with Shopper Marketing, eComm COE, Sales and Media.
Leverage category and shopper insights as the ecommerce landscape evolves to identify new test and learn opportunities for Tyson.
Manage shopper eComm budget inclusive of search & display across the entire Tyson portfolio of brands.
Drive continual analysis of programing to maximize performance.
Ensure data consistency & integrity across platforms, vendors, and analytics.
Own standard bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting requests.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience : 5 years eCommerce experience across marketing, sales, media and/or agency. Consumer packaged goods industry experience preferred.
A deep understanding of the digital shopper & eCommerce landscape, with focus on current & evolving retail media networks.
Experience in developing omni-channel solutions with RMNs both on & off platform, leveraging awareness of latest trends in digital marketing, retailer media and consumer experience.
Experience in paid media, search, bid strategy, benchmarking and ROI analysis. Knowledge of eCommerce vendors (Pacvue, Criteo, Kenshoo etc), performance tracking and data tools is ideal.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills to internal leadership and customers required.
Special Skills: Strong Financial acumen and ability to turn insights into actionable strategies and marketing plans. Highly collaborative – with an ability to lead through influence.
Computer Skills: Understanding of Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel as analysis tool. Proficient systems knowledge and experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/Mintel /Retail Link preferred).
Education: BA or BS required.
Potential Travel: 5-8 domestic trips annually.
