Job Description:

Responsible for developing and maintaining our Influencer Marketing strategy.

Works hand-in-hand with global brand, North American Brand and Communication marketers, sales and channel marketing teams to deploy a suite of relevant and credible influencer campaigns from across the automotive and motorsports landscape to deliver our marketing messages in a highly engaging way.

Establishes and maintains a strong relationship with existing network of influencers, and potential new ones.

Maintains strong relationships with our social investment partners, while seeking to expand potential new areas of partnership.

Generate strategies to develop Shell / Influencer content. Must have strong skills in digital marketing, online video, social media and event marketing.

Sets aggressive awareness goals for sponsored influencer content.

Support the business objectives and growth goals by executing integrated customer specific Influencer programs aligned to the strategic goals and brand initiatives.

Work collaboratively with influencers and channel marketing teams to build exciting campaigns for customers and consumers.

Takes the lead role in annual brand planning and supporting strategic initiatives connecting partnerships to strategic initiatives.

Ensures effective and connected brand messaging through campaigns and events.

Assesses impact/results of initiatives and activities to continue to optimize and improve campaigns. Leverage internal and external case studies, digital landscape changes and consumer trends to help inform the Influencer strategy.

Responsible for forecasting budget spend, managing the payment process, measuring ROI and carefully managing and optimizing resources year over year.

Build a strong understanding of the target consumer and their evolving habits to identify ways to engage the target audience.

Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA is strongly preferred.

Minimum 8 years’ of experience in leading influencer marketing and/or experiential marketing.

Experience working in environments that require influencing cross-functional teams (often with different goals or incentives).

Effective communication skills

Strong stakeholder management experience and demonstrated experience managing partnership relationships

Relevant industry expertise is ideal, and automotive enthusiasts preferred

Prior sales and marketing experience required.

Strong analytic and creative thinking skills preferred.

High degree of leadership, communication and ability to drive results through others.

Established knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
