Profile

The Senior Director, Creative Marketing Operations role was established to drive integration and bring a high level of rigor to the end-to-end planning and delivery of consumer-facing stories within North America. This role serves as a backbone to the North American Marketing team, driving integration amongst Product Design, Merchandising, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure content is created in a way that cuts through to the consumer and delivers value to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Holistically connects the commercial point of view to brand mission, pulling together Product Design, Merchandising, Sales and Marketing teams to articulate strategic focus and ensure that seasonal storytelling is planned and executed to cut through, across all channels and touchpoints, in a way that is unique and recognizable for our brand
  • Shapes and directs proper integration of commercial and brand messaging within the region, in partnership with the local Brand Marketing and Sales Activation teams, to bring strategies to life a way that inspires the target consumer
  • Brings together creative production, design and copywriting functions to drive and deliver a meaningful and cohesive storytelling narrative with consumers
  • Maintains an immersive understanding of consumer journey evolution and consumer-facing environments to ensure that storytelling is developed and delivered in a way that is strategically aligned with environment-appropriate executions
  • Champions rich collaboration amongst Marketers, Designers, and Copywriters for an integrated approach that results in creative output which is strategically aligned and constantly optimized based on data-driven learnings
  • Works closely with the Global Creative team/TH Agency on concept alignment and contextualization for the North American region. May also participate in or lead regional efforts with outside agency engagements from time to time for local or hyper-local conception.
  • Works closely with the Advertising/Content team as well as the various divisions of business to ensure that seasonal briefs and photo shoots are planned and delivered with the consumer, business, and brand in mind
  • Oversee creative studio, content / editorial and studio producer teams, driving creating excellence for all North America projects, as well as align with HQ creative and content teams on global creative direction, making decisions on how best to adapt creative locally

  • Drives Marketing’s creative point of view in seasonal commercial campaign strategy planning, partnering with Design & Merchandising teams to land the stories in a way which drives clarity in messaging around product strategies
  • Oversees Marketing content strategy, design, creative and execution for all channels of business within North America
  • Works with Marketing and Advertising counterparts on go-to-market strategies and content requirements
  • Works with Marketing counterparts on planning creative executions which meet or exceed business needs and are within budget. Seeks to find creative and production synergies across channels of business to deliver efficiencies while also clarifying and elevating go-to-market key messages and storytelling

  • Delivers commercial stories which resonate with consumers in a way that builds upon our brand mission and strengthens brand equity
  • Drives a seasonal narrative, in line with Global brand story-telling and contextualized for the North American business, integrating with the regional commercial point of view
  • Participates in brainstorming exchanges and presentations of new ideas/concepts with close collaboration with Global Marketing & Creative, Product Design & Innovations teams
  • Mentors the Creative Studio team to guide the creative approach through vision and empowerment
  • Ensures the creative briefing process is best utilized to create a shared understanding of business priorities and marketing strategies, ensuring relevant, aligned, clear and powerful delivery of priority messaging within consumer facing initiatives in the region
  • Drive continuous process improvement to realize efficiencies while maintaining high quality output
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a marketing/creative related field preferred, MBA a plus
  • 10+ years’ experience in connecting business and marketing strategies to inspiring, meaningful and impactful consumer-facing creative, preferably for fashion / lifestyle brands with direct-to-consumer businesses

  • Highly involved collaborator who has the ability to remain agile to understand and shape proper support around changing business needs while still maintaining a cohesive delivery of product and brand messaging
  • Business-level fluency and passion for understanding consumer insights and motivations
  • A creative sensibility that extends across content genres; experience bringing stories to life in diverse and interesting ways
  • A well-organized leader who has a strong ability to manage, prioritize, multi-task, lead and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Maintains a pulse on creative trends in digital marketing and culture
  • Ability to be hands-on if needed; can direct with expert competency in Adobe Creative programs as well as Keynote for presentations
  • Lead with a solutions-oriented mindset, always seeking and encouraging innovative approaches
  • Professional demeanor, with an extremely proactive approach and a strong bias for action
  • Strong communication skills (both verbally and written)
  • Must have a passion for driving results
  • Key decision maker responsible for TH brand standards and creative excellence in all marketing creative and messaging across all channels and platforms in North America. Makes critical business decisions to drive impact of creative, contextualizing the Global mission for the brand within the region while harmonizing to creative which also delivers on the region’s commercial point of view

  • Encourages and leads innovative thinking. Inspires and cultivates a fostering environment of creativity and innovation. Researches competitive landscape across global markets to identify seasonal trends, fashion trends, artistic and innovative inspiration and references. Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, leading a team to deliver quality work product with adherence to deadlines. Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects. Must also be able to find best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency

  • Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities, frequently reassessing and calibrating focus to both short term and long term priorities. Ability to meet deadlines despite shifting priorities
