As the Pennzoil Quaker State (PQS) Digital Marketing Manager, you will provide visible and strategic leadership driving the Digital Marketing Strategy, aligned with Shell’s digital strategy. You will collaborate with the broader Consumer Road Brand & Channel Marketing Team to help support the Sector delivery for Pennzoil and Quaker State across North America.

More specifically, your role will include:

Developing and executing the overall digital marketing strategy for both Pennzoil and Quaker State to meet the Lubricants Strategic ambitions and play a key role in helping define and influence the long-term digital roadmap. Ensure the digital strategy is thoroughly developed and clearly communicated to marketing, sales, leadership, agencies and other key stakeholders.

Championing Digital innovation - Utilize strong Market intelligence and digital developments to bring an expert view on Digital to the organization. Continually evaluate potential applications in the NA Lubricants business, build on differentiated services/solutions and maintain and grow Thought Leadership in our identified strategic initiatives. You will stay abreast of new technologies and collaborate internally across business lines to share best practices. You will evaluate, recommend and help deliver new digital offerings as an ongoing part of the digital strategy. Your natural curiosity for the business will help you to develop creative solutions to challenges.

Managing the Digital footprint of PQS Brands in Ecommerce, Search, SEO, Social Media, Online Video, Display, Websites, Email marketing and across Digital Tools. You will lead the strategy and activation of key digital programs and platforms. Accountable to support all PQS customer channels across Business-to-consumer and Business-to-business services. You will manage digital content, digital media and tools including content development, user experience design, program activation, measurement, optimization, and sustainment.

Championing Data based decision making and optimizing Digital Media. Leveraging Media Mix Modelling, benchmark insights, and campaign performance reports to optimize campaigns and deliver Intelligent Marketing. Manage digital marketing media performance to deliver high ROI digital campaigns.

Budget and Contract management - This role has direct & indirect accountability of Digital Marketing investments. Having a customer-first, commercial-mindset and strong financial acumen will be key to success in this role.

Facilitating strong communication and alignment across important internal stakeholders and directly manage external digital agencies. This role will rely heavily on your ability to heavily influence teams and stakeholders without direct management hierarchy and working closely with an integrated agency team. Additionally, your ability to manage important internal and external stakeholders will be critical. In this role it will be important that you can work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

Skills and Requirements

What we need from you -

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Bachelor's Degree required and a Master’s Degree is preferred

7 years’ experience in Digital Marketing or related experience required

Extensive history of commercial experience in Marketing/Sales with thorough knowledge of the 4 P’s of marketing (product, placement, price, promotion) and a proven track record of successfully growing brands and exceeding volume and profitability targets

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Able to work independently and with limited supervision, highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage various competing priorities.
