This position is of key importance as the Sales Support Representative 1 VSP provides timely and effective sales agency support to assist with the acquisition of customers.

Humana is seeking a Variable Staffing Pool (VSP) Associate Sales Support Representative 1. The Sales Support Representative 1 VSP provides oversight and operational reviews of sales transactions, applying routine and patterned approaches to confirm sales agent qualifications. In this field position, you will be part of a collaborative, production-based team through telephonic and virtual interactions with your teammates. You will inspect sales transactions to address any missing data elements, make updates when more accurate information is available, and otherwise route flawed transactions for further action. Your main objective is ensuring the sales agent meets established standards to do business with Humana. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
Required Qualifications
This role is a temporary position that expires January 2023
2 years or less of experience in sales, marketing, or related field
Basic SQL knowledge, experience (relational database manipulations)
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
Technologically savvy (to include high level use of laptop and virtual office tools)
Ability to build team relationships while working independently
Analytical thinker, able to identify a data deficiency, investigate, research, gather and document new facts quickly
Ability to meet strategic deadlines during high and low volume work periods
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, detail-oriented, timebound skills
Highly productive
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in a Business field
Prior experience in the health solutions or financial industries
Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher/Access

Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
