This role will also interact with multiple client teams within a well-known, global brand. Our existing internal teams and WD's executive leadership have been supporting this client since the kick-off more than a year ago, and we're proud to be able to grow this team as a result of their success. We're looking for someone who will help us continue building positive client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and growing this account!As an Account Manager, you will provide project leadership and client service to ensure that internal teams deliver on project goals. You will also be the day-to-day contact for project needs within the designated accounts or business lines, working to define scope, create proposals, develop project plans, assign and schedule appropriate disciplines, and lead the day-to-day team coordination and client communication. Our WD teams and executive leadership are excited to support your success in this role, as well as help you develop new skills for your own career growth!Candidates for this position must be local to Portland or a commutable distance for in-person interaction at our client's office several days each week (most likely Tuesday - Thursday). Willingness to work onsite at the client office in Portland as needed is required, and you will be able to work remote the remaining days. The need for onsite presence may vary from week to week. There will be some travel to WD offices and/or client locations, both domestic and international, but not necessarily frequent.Preferred Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business or other related degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related fieldPrior experience leading and managing projects (directly or indirectly) with cross-functional teamsStrong presentation and communication skills, particularly in communicating with clients and sharing client deliverablesUnderstanding of how to identify and translate requests opportunities into projects, in coordination with internal leads and leadership, to create defined deliverables and distinct stepsPrior experience managing a large retail account is helpfulAgency background with experience directly managing clients is requiredMust be able to travel within the US and internationally as neededWhat matters to our associates matters to us.
