Description
The Analytics and Reporting Marketing team is a part of Humana's Marketing Organization, supporting marketing initiatives with actionable data and insights across the full consumer lifecycle. We are looking for a Data Scientist who can define business requirements and the KPIs in measuring the effectiveness of targeted marketing campaigns and uncover deep insights about consumers to help us engage members and improve their health.
Responsibilities
We are seeking energetic data scientists to join our team in the role of Data Scientist 2, Marketing Data and Analytics that will support Humana's enrollment & onboarding retail line of business. The Data Scientist 2 will work side-by-side with marketing strategy and business partners to establish realistic business goals for our messaging campaigns develop data-driven strategies to meet those objectives, and measure success so we can continuously improve our efforts.
The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging analytics and statistical modeling to inform business decisions, and will have experience measuring outcomes to drive customer engagement.
Data Scientist 2 responsibilities include but not limited to:
Works with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business insights for our marketing partners.
Demonstrates strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on marketing campaign support
Mines, cleans and analyzes data from company databases and external data sources to build prediction of marketing goals, report on campaign performance over time by each channel.
Use predictive modeling to bring insights into Humana member experiences utilizing Regression, Random Forest, XG Boost models, clustering, text mining for revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
Conduct a power analysis, do hypothesis testing, develop marketing A/B test design, support implementation of the tests and present the statistical findings of the test to our business partners.
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of data analytics experience or Master's Degree with 0-3 years data analytics experience
Knowledge of SQL, SAS, R and/or Python
Experience in analyzing structured and unstructured data sets for business insights
Experience in creating dashboards, projections, models, and presentations to support business
Experience in using mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions
Capable of making decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Marketing experience a plus
Measuring Campaign Performance
Experience working with various marketing platforms such as Acoustic, Marketo, and/or Adobe Analytics.
