Sound like you?Opportunity Summary:Upland Software is seeking a Website Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Upland Software website, while driving growth and continuous improvement. In this role, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders (demand generation, business unit marketing, brand and more) and external developers and agency partners to develop, maintain, and support all marketing initiatives related to the website. To be successful in this role, you should be curious, analytical, and creative, applying your web marketing expertise to maximize our website's marketing performance.As we look to refreshing our website and drive growth via organic channels, we are looking for a creative, proactive in-house Website Manager to join our team. You will be involved in the development of our website, SEO strategy, updates to existing pages, and tweaks to improve performance. Primary ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as the Upland Software website lead and your role includes the following: Web Project Management and LeadershipLead website projects and initiatives, tracking progress against key milestonesLead website planning and status calls with marketing leadership, reporting regularly on-site performance and initiativesManage a team of external developers, maintaining daily communication, ticket submissions and workloadQA all for accuracy and performance with internal Cloud/Engineering teamsWeb Development & Technical Maintenance:Manage website content, conducting audits to eliminate redundant, outdated, or duplicate contentImplement design updates in collaboration with the brand team, ensuring the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization\u2019s design standardsCreate, update, and maintain CMS templates and modulesRecommend and implement regular improvements to the user experience in collaboration with the various Business Units and Growth Marketing teamsEnsure full compliance of the website with all laws and regulations (i.e., GDPR)Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websitesWebsite Performance Monitoring:Establish, maintain and update health metrics for the websiteIdentify and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for web metricsConfigure, manage, monitor, and update Google Analytics in cross-collaboration with Demand Gen Lead and external agency partnersDevelop performance reports and dashboards to reflect website performanceIdentify and develop strategies to grow web traffic metricsSearch Engine Optimization (SEO) Management:Work closely with SEO Director to implement SEO recommendations; provide input and contribute to overall SEO strategy Identify gaps/opportunities and make suggestions on ways to continuously update our site (content and structure) to improve SEOConversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Management:Develop and implement CRO tests in collaboration with Demand Gen Lead and periodically with our external website agency Monitor test performance, establish and provide reporting metrics and recommendations based on each testConceptualize new tests (design layout & content) working in collaboration with demand generation, brand and content. Requirements Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision on multiple priorities Experience building responsive websites using WordPress, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 Strong understanding of AJAX, SASS, and front-end build tools Ability to architect enterprise web solutions including data, display, and information architecture PHP & MySQL experience, with a focus on WordPress development/administration Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams (design, marketing) Knowledge of SEO coding best practices, a plus A minimum of 4 years of experience designing /managing websites for a marketing team at a B2B technology company A strong portfolio of workA general understanding of web performance metricsDesired Skills:BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, related fields, or equivalent practical experience4 years of experience in a global web management and/or marketing role Proven success launching and improving scalable global content management systems and web experiences for B2B tech company/brandAnalytical and data-driven in approach to strategy development and can seamlessly manage testing at scaleCan influence and get things done across organizations without directly owning all inputs.
