Description
Humana's Media Team is seeking a Media Planning Manager 2 to join our team working near Chicago, IL, Louisville, KY or remote anywhere in the US. As a Media Planning Manager 2, you will design media plans across our product lines to drive awareness, consideration and conversion. You will support the media plans of lines of business like Employer Group and Pharmacy which represent the fastest growing products and a big part of the company's future.
Responsibilities
The Media Planning Manager 2 will work with a collaborative and fun media team across the media campaign life cycle: briefing, strategy, tactical, reporting, and budgeting. Additionally, this role will partner closely with our Media Agency on execution. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a smart team, build your media skill set and contribute significantly to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Identify target audiences and specific messages, channels, content and tactics
Coordinate end-to-end campaign life-cycle
Maintain campaign-related documentation (e.g., media plans, creative executions, etc.)
Develop and maintain budgets to oversee costs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns
While this role is remote, candidates that reside within 50 miles of Louisville, KY or Chicago, IL will be expected to be in office as needed for in person collaboration once CDC restrictions are lifted. All others will remain virtual/remote.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
3 years of progressive experience in Marketing or Media
Experience in Strategic Media Planning
Familiar with digital marketing: Social, Search, Display, Video, etc and how to plan them
Experience budgeting and overseeing target metrics
Possess the ability to write queries, create forms, reports and documents in Excel
Strong writing and communication skills
Proficiency using Microsoft Office
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Located in Louisville, KY or Chicago (Strongly preferred)
Experienced with Adobe and/or Google Adwords
Prior health insurance industry experience
Prior ad agency experience a plus

Work at Home/Remote Requirements
Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
Travel
Based on current guidance from the CDC, local and state governments, and Humana leadership related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have extended travel restrictions until further notice. The policy will be reassessed as the situation warrants. Once these restrictions are lifted this role may require quarterly travel depending on business needs.
