For instance you can actually look at the results of different surveys which will show exactly what products or services are being used. In many cases the customers can be offered some type of reward for taking the surveys. No doubt you have seen the pop-up ads that offer a free laptop or gaming system. It might seem to good to be true, but the information collected on these surveys is worth more than any of these electronic devices ever could be.

Now you know what you do in marketing employment, but how do you get there? If you want to do marketing research on the internet then you will of course need to know how to use the internet among other things. A degree in marketing, as well as a background in statistics will go a long way in helping you land this dream job.



When you build your resume, you will need to include not only your contact information, but also the level of experience you have in each area that might be essential to jobs internet marketing. The employers will more than likely look at these sections long before he or she actually looks at your name. List everything that you are good at, and everything that may or may not be job essential.

Sure you've probably heard that you need experience to get experience, but you can always get a low paying apprenticeship while you are finishing college. This will give you the opportunity to learn and gain the experience you need at the same time.
