Yahoo! has started video-sharing support for its photo-sharing website Flickr, allowing only short videos limited to 90 seconds and 150 MB for now. Of late, Yahoo! has been introducing a slew of features to up its credibility in the market. The company has introduced the video feature only for Flickr’s pro account holders, who shell out $24.95 annually. Meanwhile, Yahoo! is also trying to resist Microsoft’s takeover bid by proposing a test program for outsourcing limited ad services to Google. Media reports indicate that Yahoo! has been trying to collaborate with AOL, while News Corp has sided with Microsoft over an unnamed venture. According to analysts, Yahoo! is trying to pressure Microsoft to sweeten the bid or is aiming to thwart it completely by engaging in these various collaborations with other companies.
