Facebook is wrapping up the lawsuit about its origins brought by three founders of the ConnectU site who were also Harvard colleagues of Mark Zuckerberg, the man behind Facebook. The lawsuit alleges that Zuckerberg stole the source code intended for the site Harvard Connection, which the plaintiffs asked Zuckerberg to build for them in 2003. The accusations have been strongly denied by Zuckerberg, who is known as the founder and CEO of the immensely popular social site. Meanwhile, Facebook has launched an instant messaging feature within its site. Although the feature resembles Gmail chat in most respects, there is also a chat bar for notifications and the option to see your friend’s mini-feed activity while chatting. “We’ll be rolling this out slowly going forward, but fairly soon you’ll notice our new Chat bar at the bottom of your browser -- no installation or assembly required,” Josh Wiseman, a Facebook engineer, wrote in a Sunday blog post.
