Time Warner has announced its latest restructuring plan for its finance department, elevating James Burtson and Edward Ruggiero to the posts of senior vice presidents of different domains. Burtson will be acting as the senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions, while Ruggiero has been promoted to senior VP and treasurer. Executive VP and CFO John Martin unveiled the changes and promotions in the latest shakeup in the financial department. Prior to their appointments, Burtson and Ruggiero served as senior VP, investor relations, and senior VP, corporate finance, respectively. Douglas Shapiro, former media analyst at Banc of America Securities LLC, takes over the post vacated by Burtson. Said Martin: “These changes will help our finance group work more effectively with our businesses to pursue growth opportunities, maximize our performance, and create value for our shareholders.”
