Omnicom Group’s OMD has elevated Chris Geraci to the post of managing director of national broadcast investment, effective immediately, due to Debbie Richman’s departure. Richman left the post and company to join Lifetime cable channel as executive vice president of its sales division, where she will oversee all their ad sales. Geraci, who is a 20-year veteran of both OMD and Omnicom, most recently served as director of national broadcast investment at the agency. Page Thompson, CEO of OMD North America, said, “It is gratifying to see a ‘homegrown’ talent like Chris advance and thrive in our organization. His extensive experience and ability to craft innovative deals have given us a tremendous advantage.” Geraci has also been named to the operating council of the agency, managing operations of more than 100 buyers tending to the needs of over 80 national clients.
