Yahoo! has unveiled a new bookmarking tool for mobiles that will help users to organize web content through a new technology called onePlace. onePlace categorizes web content and reduces the number of clicks needed to browse frequently visited sites and services. Users can bookmark content into categories so that it will be dynamically updated or create new categories to suit their needs. Yahoo's goal is to ''become the starting point for the most users'' of the mobile Internet, said Marco Boerries, executive vice president of Yahoo's Connected Life business. Meanwhile, Yahoo has heavy competition in the mobile space, with Google also joining the party. Google is bringing Google Gears to mobiles, which will help users to access web applications offline.
