Dawn Taubin, the head of domestic marketing at Warner Brothers for the last six years, has resigned. The move follows the appointment of Jeff Robinov, Warner's production president, as head of the newly formed Warner Bros. Pictures Group. Before this reshuffling, Taubin reported directly to Alan Horn, president and chief operating officer. Various reports claim that the step down is due to an existing rift between Taubin and Robinov. Taubin joined Warner Brothers as vice president of publicity in 1989 and was named executive vice president of marketing in 1999. She was appointed as the head of domestic marketing in November 2001.
