With an aim to transform its corporate identity, Xerox Corporation has unveiled a new logo. The new logo is a lowercase treatment of the Xerox name, colored vibrant red, and accompanied by a sphere-shaped symbol sketched with lines that link to form an illustrative ''X.'' The new logo intends to represent the company's connections with its customers, partners, industry, and innovation. The new brand is designed to replace Xerox's old image as a photocopier manufacturer with today's technologically savvy and innovative Xerox. ''Today, we're strengthening all our attributes and giving our brand a contemporary look that is more relevant for business today — a bit less formal, a lot more lively with links to our heritage and a nod to the future,'' said Ursula M. Burns, president of Xerox.
