WPP Acquires Cheskin

WPP's wholly-owned company Added Value Group, the brand development and marketing insight agency, has acquired Cheskin, a leading consulting firm in the U.S. Cheskin, now named Cheskin Added Value, brings a strong presence in the technology sector and in-depth understanding of U.S. Hispanic markets to WPP. Darrel Rhea will continue as CEO. The new firm will continue to focus on consumer insights-based innovation consulting for product development, branding, and marketing concerns. Cheskin's clients list includes Microsoft, Del Monte, Visa, eBay, and Wal-Mart.
