In the new position, Digles will handle XanGo's international marketing components and take charge of activities related to sales, advertising, and public relations. Previously, Digles worked as the senior vice president and general manager of marketing and public relations firm MWW Group. Digles has expertise in matters relating to nutrition and branding, proving an asset to XanGo. He influenced the firm's remarkable jersey-front sponsorship with Real Salt Lake and Major League Soccer. He not only steered XALOTM Juice to success, but also brought the European Union into the picture.
GSD&M named Marketing Partner to World Market
Cost Plus, Inc., has named top marketing and communications company GSD&M as its elite marketing partner to World Market. The firm will be provided with $60 million for its total marketing expenses. The joint venture is the result of the past three months' progress. With over 294 stores in 34 states, Cost Plus World Market operates under the names "World Market" and "Cost Plus World Market." New vice president of marketing for STAAR Surgical
STAAR Surgical Company, a prominent producer and seller of minimally invasive ophthalmic products, has newly appointed Robin Hughes as its vice president of marketing. Previously, Hughes worked at Bausch & Lomb, posted as vice president of global strategy and commercialization. In STAAR, he joins as a replacement of Darcy Wende, who wishes to step down and work as an independent marketing consultant. An MBA, Hughes will be accountable to David Bailey, the president and CEO of STAAR Surgical.
