The U.S. Fund for UNICEF (USF) has allotted Eastwest Marketing Group integrated marketing responsibilities, supporting the U.S.-based programs of the leading international children's organization, UNICEF. The marketing responsibilities include fundraising, building awareness, developing national consumer participation and corporate partnership programs, and analyzing UNICEF's projects, including Trick-or-Treat and the Tap Project. With the Tap Project, UNICEF aims at saving the lives of children by providing them with safe drinking water worldwide. The 24-year-old Eastwest Marketing Group is an independent marketing agency serving clients like Kraft Foods, Universal, Reckitt Benckiser, Nintendo, Warner Bros., and Wyndham Worldwide. Its staff numbers 120 employees, and the group operates from its offices in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.



Sheri Wilson-Gray joins Brown Shoe Co. as CMO and senior VP
Sheri Wilson-Gray has been designated senior vice president and chief marketing officer to Brown Shoe Company, Inc., starting in June. Previously, Wilson-Gray held the post of executive vice president—marketing in Island Global Yachting and Saks Fifth Avenue. She was also responsible for managing brand marketing in multiple faculties in reputable firms like Procter and Gamble, Victoria Creations, Inc., Monet, Chesebrough-Pond's, Inc., and Playtex International. With a bachelor's degree in fashion retailing and a master's degree in management, Wilson-Gray began her career at Federated Department Stores, Inc. In the globally operated $2.5 billion footwear company, Wilson-Gray will look after the departments of consumer research, direct marketing communications, and public relations, with an emphasis on strategic brand development. She would also be in charge of licensing Brown Shoe brands—Naturalizer, LifeStride, Via Spiga, Nickels Soft, Connie and Buster Brown, Franco Sarto, Dr. Scholl's, Etienne Aigner, and Carlos—and Disney and Nickelodeon character footwear for children.

Thomson West appoints new VP of Central Marketing
Thomson West, leading provider of integrated information solutions to the US legal market, has hired Mark Schiff for a newly created post in its firm. Schiff will join a new segment of the firm, central marketing, as vice president. This separate division will identify, launch, and market cross-segment products, practice areas and initiatives. Schiff joined Thomson West from BizFilings, a company dealing in corporate and financial services. Holding an MBA, Schiff served as a general manager in BizFilings. In that role, he guaranteed continuous development in diversified product lines, aggressively built-in customer feedback, improved and developed product offerings, and enhanced its client base.

ACCENT Marketing Services to offer 550 new high-quality jobs
ACCENT Marketing Services has chosen Monroe, LA, to open its ninth domestic contact center. The new opening expected in mid-August will be ACCENT's first contact center in Louisiana and 13th across the world. It is likely to generate 550 new jobs and create an annual payroll of $11.4 million with the 320-seat center. The new hub will serve telecommunications brand Boost Mobile, technical support, and inbound customer service. Boost Mobile is one of the top growing pay-as-you-go wireless service providers and is likely to receive around 700,000 customer calls monthly. ACCENT is about 3000 employees strong, providing integrated marketing solutions and maintaining its clients through the means of loyalty marketing, customer satisfaction programs, and customer care.
